Venice High School Homecoming Court

Homecoming is an annual tradition of the United States. People. towns, high schools and colleges come together, usually in late September or early October, to welcome back alumni and former residents.

Homecoming 2019

This year is the last homecoming to be held on our famous Watson Field. Our field, bleachers and yes, the scoreboard have been fenced off and are a part of the current VHS renovation.
Instead of being sad to see it go, we can say we celebrate its life and we embrace the memories made on this field (the second field VHS has had). We look forward to Venice having our third and new and improved field for many more games, history and memories to be made. And we will continue to flood the bleachers with Gondo spirit.
The 2019 Homecoming was attended with Venice pride; young and old filled the bleachers and enjoyed the evening.
This years Homecoming court was excited to ride in vintage classic cars provided by Rick Silva, Felipe and alumni friends. The parade also included the Principal, Mr. Griego, Honorees and many school teams and clubs. VHS Seniors from band, cheer, dance and football were also honored. It was a wonderful send-off to Watson Field. We look forward to a new football field, track and bleachers by the 2020 football season.

Congratulations to this years court:
